I’m Chantelle, the founder of Coastal Learning Studio. I have 20 years of experience in education, including 8 years dedicated to special education, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting hundreds of students and families. As a trained Dyslexpert, I specialize in supporting students with reading challenges and guiding families and educators in understanding the foundations of literacy. After facilitating countless IEP and Gifted meetings and working closely with students in academic settings, one thing became clear; many students struggling in school don’t need more practice. They need a highly trained teacher who understands foundational skills like reading and handwriting, and who knows how to rebuild confidence through structured, evidence based instruction.

At Coastal Learning Studio, every learning session is interactive, personalized, and grounded in what your child already knows. I break skills into smaller, meaningful steps, provide clear models and visuals, and teach in a way that helps students truly understand the concepts they’ve been missing.

Sessions include guided practice, discussions, and ongoing checks for understanding so I can pinpoint exactly where a concept isn’t clicking. My goal is always the same: to ensure your child feels capable, supported, and empowered. Your child will leave each session with stronger skills, greater confidence, and the tools needed to thrive in the classroom.
